Party Day

Saturday was “party day” at the Wills Wing demo daze at Wallaby Ranch.

The weather cooperated, so we filled the sky with gliders all day.  A band of cirrus moved through during the early afternoon and limited lift.

Even with the weak lift, many of us stayed airborne until the cirrus moved on and the sun kicked things back into high-gear later in the afternoon.

The dinner was great and the strawberry shortcake served up by Malcom's mother was even better.  The entire day seemed like a large family reunion, drawing people from around the country and world.  (Malcom said they served 275 dinners!)  We partied and dance into the next day.

Hats off to Wills Wing and Wallaby Ranch for making an event like this possible year after year.
